Koukaso is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is scrupulously clean and the host polite and accommodating. He answered all my questions and even took a delivery of one of our bikes that got lost on its way from NZ. There was a kitchen so I was able to cook my own breakfast and a lovely garden to sit out in. I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers, couples, or family groups.

Very quiet and very clean. Train station just a couple minutes away. Special thanks to Yuki-san who was very kind and helpful.

Adequate with all essentials, except need to bring our own bath towels and tooth brush/paste, which is reasonable. Like it that the property has coffee/ tea and all kitchen appliances required. Very clean and hygienic.

The tatami room was comfortable, the train station is in close reach and by car you can explore more easily than from Sapporo.
